THAT LEEDS MAG is proud to introduce you to the new landlady at one of North Leeds’s most established go-to pubs, The Mustard Pot Chapel Allerton. Local resident, also a previous bar tender, Jodie Beer (this really is her surname) has hit the ground running with the position. A familiar face to many Jodie has two successful bakeries, Jodie Bakes and Giraffe Bakery. In fact, if you have had a cake from Bruschetta (Corn Exchange) or Harewood House chances are they may have been crafted by her very hands.
With Jodie’s wealth of experience (over 24 years in hospitality) guests at The Mustard Pot will be treated to the friendliest of welcomes in a comforting family and dog friendly environment. Every detail is considered – the very best a pub can offer!
I met with Jodie four days after she got the keys, she’s very excited to get stuck in. With plans to open mornings from 9am Mon-Sat, offering barista style coffees, brunch and of course some of her delicious bakes. Plus, with a new children’s play space inside the pub you could enjoy a moments peace.
There are some new beers coming in on draft and she will also be giving long-term Chef Miguel freedom to create some exciting seasonal offerings on the specials boards to tantalise our tastebuds this Autumn.

Whilst the food every day is meticulously catered The Mustard Pot prides itself on its Sunday lunch!
They do all the work so you can relax and enjoy yourselves. The chef selects Yorkshire meats at their best and prepares their famous ‘The Mustard Pot Classic Nut Roast’ (other delights also available on the day) all freshly prepared for you and your families. Reassuringly their Sunday menu changes weekly according to seasonal availability of produce.
