Thank you for all your lovely comments and reviews; it’s interesting to hear readers opinions, this helps me grow your local magazine into what you want it to be. Do not hesitate to drop me an email if there is something you’d like to see more or less of.

I promote local businesses and cover a wide range of topics both in print and on socials. If you are enjoying your FREE INDEPENDENT LEEDS MAGAZINE you can support my efforts with a simple follow and a few like and comments on one or all of my social media accounts.

20,000 copies of THAT LEEDS MAG are printed every six weeks. If you’d like additional copies of THAT LEEDS MAG to share with your friends, these can be collected from Kirby’s of Meanwood, Headingley HEART, English Art Co. and the Welcome In Community Centre LS16 or purchase here for postage straight through your door (while stocks last).

Your support in reading and sharing the magazines does not go unnoticed. If people you know don’t get a printed copy of THAT LEEDS MAG they can hop on to social media and follow along. I share a lot of the printed editorial as well as updates from advertisers.

Everything I do supports the values of environmentally conscious, spreading positivity and respect for all.

In this edition, you can read about a new White Rose store opening on Albion Street. Each preloved purchase or donation helps develop sustainable solutions to fast fashion and supports White Rose’s charitable goals. One hundred percent of profits go to Aegis Trust.

I recently met some wonderful people from Getting Clean and wanted to share their story with readers. They are doing incredible work for the hashtag#Leeds community, supporting each other in their journey to stay free from drugs and alcohol. As the mag was printing Getting Clean won at the Stephen Lloyd Awards 😁 – congratulations to Chris and the team!

The Arts Society Leeds proudly celebrates half a century of bringing the arts to life at Castle Grove, Headingley. Read more about the group and how to get involved.

Chapel Allerton Artists will be opening their studio doors again this year for visitors on the weekend of 17th – 18th August, look out for full trail maps around Chapel Allerton soon.

There’s more – on the August bank holiday weekend, Zineophilia is taking over Left Bank Leeds CIC to bring you Stapled! If you enjoy making or reading independent ‘zines, then I’d recommend a visit.

Plus much more.

A big thank you to the amazing businesses who advertise in THAT LEEDS MAG and make it possible, you can search for a service you need in the online directory.

We were initially somewhat unsure about how to advertise and whether or not this would be the correct option for our team. We did NOT need to worry! Deby offers a superb service which feels very personalised and highly beneficial for business growth. We used That Leeds Mag to advertise our upcoming open days at Castle Grove Masonic Hall. We went from averaging 1 or 2 visitors per day, to needing multiple people on hand to give guided tours! All said they had found us through That Leeds Mag. We will absolutely be continuing to advertise here.

As a small indie business every penny we spend on marketing is precious. And working with Deby and That Leeds Mag has proved to be an excellent choice. She creatively submerges herself into your brand and USP and meets the brief way beyond expectations. The customer footfall from advertising in the mag and the subsequent social media has been very good for our growing sales. She is also a really nice positive person to work with. I highly recommend That Leeds Mag if you want more businesses.

Excellent service from start to finish. Great communication from the start and when I wanted something tweaking on my advert, they were happy to do so with speed. I've received numerous enquires since and it's helped my website in the google rankings with their online directory too. Highly recommend.

Excellent service and support. I felt I was working with someone who knew what they were doing and wanted it to work well for me and my business, rather than just a sale! Big thanks would love to work with you more.
