Many thanks to Fran Haslam for kindly allowing me to share her artwork Visit the Underworld on this cover.

Fran is a Leeds artist and illustrator whose practice reimagines myths, legends, and folklore for a modern audience. Under her brand Fran Haslam Designs, she creates hand-drawn illustrations inspired by Greek and Norse mythology, exploring themes of gods, goddesses, epic quests, and underworld journeys. Each piece is meticulously designed and professionally printed on fine art paper, with Fran overseeing every stage from drawing to packaging.
Her work speaks to mythology lovers and contemporary art enthusiasts alike, offering fresh, visually compelling interpretations of stories that have endured across cultures and centuries.
