Music House is a lovely music facility in the heart of Leeds. They are committed to creating equal access to everyone who wants to learn to play an instrument or sing. A charitable trust, breaking down barriers to musical learning by offering affordable lessons.

group lessons
Group lessons are available for 4-6 people. Most instruments and singing can be taught this way. Group learning not only brings the lesson price down, but it’s also a fun, leisure activity for you and your friends to do together. Group lessons start from £14.40 per person for two people with a sliding scale that reduces to £8.10 per person for six people. This is a great pathway to 1:1 lessons.
1:1 music and singing lessons
1:1 music lessons are available for all levels and ages. So, if you’re a complete beginner wanting to learn for pleasure and enjoyment; an improver wanting to pick up where you left off or you have a desire to work towards grade exams, their expert teachers will help you on your musical journey. Lesson prices start from as little as £18.00 for 30 minutes so please get in touch to book a trial lesson.
music room hire
With nine rooms available, at Music House, in a wide range of sizes you can find the perfect fit for your needs. The room hire is super flexible, hire for an hour, half day, or the full day. Perfect for a wide range of uses from music rehearsal – including choirs, ensembles; summer schools; workshops; health and wellbeing sessions e.g., yoga; private music lessons to interviews and meetings.
New and current users tell us it’s very hard to find affordable rooms locally and are delighted to discover all that Music House Leeds can offer.
For individuals/small start-up businesses etc. whose cashflow may be tight, they will do everything possible to help. Room rates are surprisingly competitive starting from as little as £8.50 for an hour. There are discounts for long-term use too. Mention THAT LEEDS MAG for a further 10% off.
Most rooms have a piano, and all rooms have music stands included.
Rooms can be setup as required: cabaret, theatre, classroom, boardroom, whatever your use they will do their best to accommodate your needs.
